Stealth mode

Stealth mode is a feature that hides the Bridge widget button on your Squarespace site until users hover near it. This keeps your Squarespace site's design clean and minimal while still making communication accessible when needed.

How It Works

When stealth mode is enabled:

• The widget button is hidden by default
• When users move their mouse near the widget area (typically bottom-right corner), the button appears
• The button remains visible while the mouse is in the area
• When the mouse moves away, the button fades out again

Enabling Stealth Mode

To enable stealth mode:

1. Log in to your Bridge dashboard
2. Navigate to the Squarespace website's detail page
3. Go to the widget settings
4. Find the "Stealth Mode" option
5. Toggle stealth mode on
6. Save your settings

When to Use Stealth Mode

Stealth mode is ideal when:

• You want a cleaner, more minimal design on your Squarespace site
• The widget might interfere with your Squarespace site's visual design
• You want communication available but not prominently displayed
• You prefer a more subtle approach to client communication

Accessibility

Even with stealth mode enabled, the widget remains fully accessible:

• Users can still access the widget by hovering near it
• The widget appears smoothly when needed
• All communication features work normally

Tip: Stealth mode gives you the best of both worlds: a clean Squarespace site design and accessible client communication. You can enable or disable it at any time in your widget settings.
