Share files and media

Bridge allows you to share files and media directly with clients through the chat interface on your Squarespace sites. This makes it easy to exchange project files, images, documents, and other assets.

Sharing Files from Your Dashboard

To share a file with a client:

1. Open the conversation with the client in your Bridge dashboard
2. Click the file attachment button in the message input area
3. Select the file you want to share from your device
4. The file will upload and appear in the conversation
5. The client will see the file in the widget on your Squarespace site

Receiving Files from Clients

Clients can also share files with you through the Bridge widget on your Squarespace site:

• Clients click the attachment button in the widget
• They select a file from their device
• The file uploads and appears in your dashboard conversation
• You can download or view the file directly from the conversation

Supported File Types

Bridge supports the following file types:

• Images (JPG, PNG, GIF, and other image formats)
• Documents (PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT)
• Archive files (ZIP, RAR)

Maximum file size is 10MB per file.

File Storage

All shared files are stored securely and remain accessible in the conversation thread:

• Files are stored securely in the cloud
• You can access shared files at any time from the conversation history
• Files are organized by conversation, making it easy to find project assets

Tip: File sharing through Bridge keeps all project-related files in one place, making it easy to track what's been shared and when. This is especially useful for managing multiple client projects across different Squarespace sites.
