Email notifications

Bridge can send you email notifications when clients send messages through the widget on your Squarespace sites. This helps you stay on top of client communications even when you're not actively checking the dashboard.

Enabling Notifications

To enable email notifications:

  1. Log in to your Bridge dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings
  3. Find the Email Notifications section
  4. Toggle email notifications on
  5. Ensure your email address is verified

What You'll Receive

When email notifications are enabled, you'll receive an email when:

  • A client sends a new message through the widget on any of your Squarespace sites
  • A client starts a new conversation
  • You receive a file attachment from a client

Notification Content

Each notification email includes:

  • The client's name (if available)
  • Which Squarespace website the message came from
  • A preview of the message
  • A direct link to view the conversation in your dashboard

Managing Notifications

You can manage your notification preferences:

  • Turn notifications on or off at any time
  • Update your email address in your account settings
  • Check your spam folder if you're not receiving notifications

Tip: Email notifications help you respond to clients quickly, which improves client satisfaction. Make sure to verify your email address to ensure notifications are delivered properly.
