Update your profile

Keep your Bridge account information up to date. Learn how to change your email, update your name, and modify other profile settings.

Accessing Your Profile Settings

To update your profile information:

1. Log in to your Bridge dashboard
2. Click on your profile icon or name in the top right corner
3. Select "Profile Settings" or go to Settings → Profile
4. Make your desired changes
5. Click "Save" to apply the updates

Changing Your Email Address

To update your email address:

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Find the Email field
3. Enter your new email address
4. Click "Save"
5. Verify your new email address through the confirmation email sent to you

Your email address is used for account notifications, billing receipts, and password resets. Make sure to use an email address you have access to.

Updating Your Name

To change your display name:

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Find the Name field
3. Enter your new name
4. Click "Save"

Your name appears in your dashboard and may be visible to clients depending on your settings.

Profile Picture

To update your profile picture:

1. Go to Settings → Profile
2. Click on your current profile picture or the "Change Picture" button
3. Upload a new image from your device
4. Crop or adjust the image as needed
5. Click "Save"

Supported image formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF. Recommended size is 200x200 pixels or larger.

Password Management

To change your password:

1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Click "Change Password"
3. Enter your current password
4. Enter your new password (make sure it's strong and secure)
5. Confirm your new password
6. Click "Update Password"

Use a strong password with a mix of letters, numbers, and special characters to keep your account secure.

Notification Preferences

You can manage how you receive notifications:

• Go to Settings → Notifications
• Choose which types of notifications you want to receive
• Select your preferred notification method (email, in-app, or both)
• Save your preferences

Tip: Keep your profile information current to ensure you receive important account updates and billing notifications.
