Delete your account
If you no longer need your Bridge account, you can permanently delete it. Understand what happens to your data and how to complete the deletion process.
Before Deleting Your Account
Before you delete your account, consider the following:
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- All your data will be permanently deleted immediately
- You'll lose access to all conversations, messages, and files
- Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
- You won't be able to recover any information after deletion
If you're unsure, you can cancel your subscription instead, which will retain your data for 180 days in case you want to reactivate your account.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account profile and settings
- All conversations and messages
- All shared files and media
- Client profiles and information
- Website configurations and widget settings
- Billing and payment information
- All account activity history
This deletion is immediate and irreversible. Make sure you've exported or saved any information you need before proceeding.

To permanently delete your Bridge account:
- Log in to your Bridge dashboard
- Go to Settings → Account
- Scroll to the "Delete Account" section
- Click "Delete Account" or "Permanently Delete Account"
- Read the warning message carefully
- Enter your password to confirm

Active Subscriptions
If you have an active subscription:
- Your subscription will be cancelled immediately
- You won't be charged for future billing cycles
- No refunds will be issued for the current billing period
- You'll lose access to Bridge features immediately upon deletion
If you want to keep your data but stop paying, consider cancelling your subscription instead of deleting your account.
Data Retention After Cancellation
If you cancel your subscription instead of deleting your account:
- Your data will be retained for 180 days
- You can reactivate your account within this period
- After 180 days, your data will be automatically deleted
- You won't be charged during this retention period
This gives you time to reconsider or export your data if needed.
Exporting Your Data
Before deleting your account, you may want to export your data:
- Go to Settings → Data Export
- Request a data export
- Wait for the export to be prepared (usually within 24 hours)
- Download the exported data file
- Save it securely before deleting your account
The export will include your conversations, messages, files, and account information in a downloadable format.
